Blueball Forgotten Disease - Support Research for Eosinophilia-Myalgia Syndrome: Ended Sept.1, 2002. Now we wait to see if NIAMS and Congress will do their part to help us. The online Petition got 713 valid signatures. Online Petition and paper signatures (from Paper Petitions) amounted to 1,421 total signatures sent to NIAMS and Congress. I received a letter from my senior senator and from NIAMS. We shall see what Congress and NIH do to help. Please consider writing your senators and representative about support for funding for EMS, rare diseases (including EMS), and autoimmune diseases (including EMS).
